Dell Inspiron 3520 for daily productivity

This laptop pairs an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 with 8GB DDR4 and dual storage. The 128GB NVMe drive handles the operating system while the 500GB HDD stores larger files. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed for business environments. The 15.6-inch IPS panel runs at 120Hz for smoother scrolling.

Installation notes and common issues

The system arrives professionally upgraded and tested, so no user assembly is required. Memory and storage upgrades are possible but need a compatible DDR4 SO-DIMM and a free M.2 slot. Some users report the single USB 2.0 port limits peripheral connectivity. Battery life varies with the 41 WHr cell and 65W adapter.

Practical limits of the platform

Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics suit office work and video playback but not modern gaming. The 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 handle typical wireless tasks. Only one USB 2.0 port, HDMI, an SD reader and a combo jack are available for external devices. The 128GB NVMe boot drive fills quickly with large applications.

How do I confirm the 120 Hz display is active after setup?

Open Windows Display Settings and verify the refresh rate dropdown shows 120 Hz for the 1920 x 1080 resolution.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?
