Role and audience

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6-inch laptop built for everyday office and home tasks. It pairs an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for business-ready management features.

Sustained workload behaviour

The four-core CPU reaches a 4.2 GHz turbo frequency and includes 8MB of L3 cache to keep multi-threaded workloads responsive. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics share system memory, so extended rendering or light gaming sessions will draw from the 8GB pool. The 120 Hz IPS panel refreshes at 120 Hz for smoother scrolling during long work periods.

Thermals noise and power

A 65 W power adapter supplies the system while a 3-cell 41 WHr battery handles mobile use. The chassis measures 14.11 by 9.27 by 0.74 inches and weighs 3.6 lb, allowing a compact thermal solution. Fan activity scales with CPU load, staying quiet during typical document and web browsing tasks.
