Purpose and audience

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6 inch laptop built for everyday computing with a 12th generation Intel Core i7 processor. It suits students and office workers who need 16 GB of memory and a 512 GB SSD for multitasking and fast boot times. Windows 11 Home is preinstalled so the system is ready to use immediately. The integrated graphics handle standard productivity and video playback.

Installation and common issues

As a complete laptop there is no internal hardware installation required by the buyer. Initial setup follows the standard Windows 11 out-of-box experience including network connection and account creation. The 1366 by 768 HD panel offers limited screen real estate which can feel cramped when working with multiple windows side by side. Integrated graphics mean the system is not suited to modern gaming or intensive 3D workloads.

Deciding specification

The display resolution of 1366 x 768 is the single figure that determines whether this model fits the buyer's workflow. Text and images appear less sharp than on Full HD panels so users who edit photos, read fine spreadsheets or need more desktop space should consider a higher resolution screen. For general browsing, document editing and streaming the resolution is adequate.
