DELL Inspiron 3520 laptop

This 15.6 inch laptop runs Windows 11 Pro on a 10 core Intel Core i7 12th Gen processor reaching 4.7 GHz turbo. It targets students and office workers who need a reliable machine for documents, web browsing and video calls. The integrated graphics and non touch FHD screen keep the focus on everyday productivity rather than gaming or creative workloads.

128GB SSD and 4GB RAM capacity

The 128GB solid state drive holds the operating system and a modest set of applications with enough headroom for cloud synced files. Local media libraries or large project folders will fill it quickly. Four gigabytes of memory handles single tasks and light multitasking but runs out when several browser tabs and background apps compete for resources.

WIFI 6 and integrated graphics limits

Optional WIFI 6 improves wireless speed and stability in crowded environments when the feature is present. The graphics chip is integrated on the processor so 3D performance tops out at basic video playback and casual browser games. Buyers who want more storage, higher memory or discrete graphics for heavier creative work should consider other configurations.

Questions about this item

Will the Inspiron 3520's USB ports recognise the external hard drives I use with my older laptop?

The laptop includes USB ports that support common external storage devices, so drives formatted for Windows should appear in File Explorer once connected.

How can I confirm the i7-1255U is reaching its 4.7 GHz turbo frequency under load?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab while running a demanding task; the CPU clock speed readout will show the current frequency rising toward 4.7 GHz when thermal headroom allows.

Does the box contain a stylus for the 15.6-inch FHD screen, or must I buy one separately?

The display is non-touch, so no stylus is included or needed; the package provides the laptop, a power adapter and the standard documentation.
