15.6" FHD touchscreen business laptop

The Dell Inspiron 3530 is a 15.6-inch business laptop with a Full HD touchscreen, Intel Core i7-1355U processor, 64GB of RAM and a 2TB PCIe SSD. It runs Windows 11 Home and uses Intel UHD Graphics for visual output. The anti-glare LED-backlit WVA panel with IPS technology provides 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Suited for office multitasking.

This configuration suits professionals who need a large memory complement and fast solid-state storage for document-heavy workflows, video calls and web-based applications. The 10-core processor and 64GB RAM handle simultaneous business apps comfortably. Buyers who require a dedicated graphics card for 3D rendering, CAD or gaming should look at a different class of machine. The non-backlit keyboard may also disappoint users who work in low-light environments.

64GB RAM and 2TB PCIe SSD define capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the combination of 64GB system memory and a 2TB PCIe solid-state drive. That capacity ceiling is fixed at purchase and cannot be upgraded later. If your workload demands more memory or storage than those figures provide, this unit will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

What are the dimensions of the 15.6" FHD touchscreen bezel for a VESA mount?

The 15.6" anti-glare WVA panel uses IPS technology at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Dell does not publish outer bezel measurements or VESA mounting points for this Inspiron 3530 chassis.

How do I install the 64GB of RAM, and which slot order avoids a no-boot error?

The 64GB memory is factory-installed and soldered; there are no user-accessible SO-DIMM slots, so no installation or slot-order step exists.

When will the 2TB PCIe SSD need replacement, and what capacity does the slot support?

The 2TB PCIe SSD is the primary boot drive. SSD endurance varies by workload; the M.2 slot accepts standard 2280 PCIe drives for future upgrades.
