Target user

The Dell Inspiron 3530 15 is a new 15.6-inch laptop with a 1920 x 1080 anti-glare touchscreen. It runs on a 13th Generation Intel Core i7-1355U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads, reaching up to 5.0 GHz turbo frequency. Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics handles visual output. The system includes 16GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed.

Upgrade path

This model replaces an older machine limited to lower core counts, slower storage or a non-touch display. The jump is worth it when daily workloads need 10 cores for multitasking, 2TB capacity for large local files, and touch input for direct screen interaction. Buyers who need discrete graphics, a backlit keyboard or a fingerprint reader should look elsewhere.

Build fit

The chassis measures 14.11 x 9.25 x 0.75 inches and weighs 3.64 pounds in black. Ports include one USB-A 2.0, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, HDMI 1.4, a headphone/microphone jack and a power jack. A multi-format SD card reader and 1080p webcam are built in. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth provide wireless connectivity.
