Inspiron 3535 laptop for touch workflows

The Dell Inspiron 3535 is a 15.6 inch laptop with a Full HD touchscreen, an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U eight-core processor, 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD. It runs Windows 11 Pro and uses integrated AMD Radeon graphics. The anti-glare display operates at 60Hz with 220 nits brightness.

Upgrade from non-touch or lower-spec machines

This model replaces laptops that lack touch input or have smaller solid-state drives and fewer processor cores. The jump is worth it when daily tasks involve direct screen interaction, larger local storage for files, and multi-threaded performance for productivity applications.

Straightforward setup with integrated graphics

Initial configuration follows the standard Windows 11 Pro out-of-box experience. Driver updates for the Radeon graphics and Wi-Fi AC adapter may be required after first boot. The integrated graphics share system memory, so heavy 3D workloads are not supported. Touch calibration is automatic but can be adjusted in settings if needed.

Questions about this item

Does the 15.6 inch FHD touchscreen need a specific bezel or mounting bracket to fit the Inspiron 3535 chassis?

The 15.6 inch FHD 1920 x 1080 anti-glare touch display uses a narrow border design built for the Inspiron 3535 lid; no separate bezel or bracket is required.

What is the correct order to install Windows 11 Pro and the AMD Radeon graphics driver on the Ryzen 7 7730U system?

Install Windows 11 Pro first, then download the AMD Radeon graphics driver for the Ryzen 7 7730U; installing the driver before the OS finishes its initial setup often causes the touchscreen calibration to fail.

Which user-replaceable components in the Inspiron 3535 will need service after several years of use?

The 1TB SSD and the internal battery are the only user-replaceable parts; the 16GB RAM is soldered to the board and the AMD Radeon graphics are integrated into the Ryzen 7 7730U processor.
