Dell Inspiron 5559 Touch Gaming Laptop

The Dell Inspiron 5559 is a 15.6 inch touchscreen laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6500U processor with 16GB DDR3L memory and a 512GB SSD. It includes a dedicated AMD Radeon R5 M335 graphics card alongside Intel HD Graphics 520. The Full HD Truelife display supports touch input. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed for immediate use.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Verify that your peripherals suit the available ports: two USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, one HDMI and one 10/100 Ethernet jack. Wireless connectivity uses 802.11 b/g/n with Bluetooth 4.0. The tray-load DVD drive reads optical media. A 3-in-1 card reader accepts common memory cards. The Intel 3D RealSense webcam handles video calls.

Sustained-load behaviour

The dual-graphics configuration switches between Intel HD Graphics 520 and the Radeon R5 M335 depending on workload. Under continuous demand the cooling system manages heat from the 2.5 GHz base processor and its 3.1 GHz turbo. Fan noise rises during extended gaming or rendering sessions. Battery life decreases when the dedicated GPU remains active for long periods.
