Dell Inspiron 5640 Laptop 16 Touch

The Dell Inspiron 5640 is a 16-inch touchscreen laptop powered by an Intel Core 7 150U processor with ten cores reaching 5.4 GHz. It ships with 64 GB of memory and a 64 GB solid-state drive. Windows 11 Home is preinstalled on the silver chassis.

Suits mobile professionals needing touch input

This configuration fits users who value a 16.0 inch FHD+ touch display and 64 GB RAM for multitasking. Buyers who need more storage capacity than 64 GB or who require discrete graphics performance should consider other options.

64 GB SSD capacity decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 64 GB solid-state drive. This capacity limits the amount of local applications and files you can keep onboard. Verify that this storage volume meets your workflow before purchase.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 64 GB SSD and 64 GB RAM configuration or look for a larger drive?

The laptop ships with a 64 GB SSD and 64 GB of memory; if you need more local storage you will have to add an external drive or use cloud services.

What does the 5.4 GHz turbo frequency mean for everyday work?

The Intel Core 7 150U can boost up to 5.4 GHz on its 10 cores, giving short bursts of high speed for demanding tasks while running cooler during light loads.

What does the 802.11ac wireless connection cap in practice?

The 802.11ac Wi‑Fi adapter limits the laptop to the maximum throughput of that standard, so real‑world speeds will not exceed what 802.11ac networks can deliver.
