Replacement LCD back cover lid assembly with wireless antenna cables for Inspiron Mini 12 and 1210 models in Green Thunder finish
This is an original Dell replacement lid assembly for the Inspiron Mini 12 notebook, also identified as the 1210 model. It carries Dell part number K713M and arrives in the Green Thunder colour finish. The package includes the back cover lid and the wireless antenna cables needed for a complete repair. It is intended for owners or technicians restoring the original appearance and wireless function of this specific laptop.
The lid assembly contains no active electronics, fans or moving parts, so it generates no heat and draws no power during normal use. Installation adds no acoustic noise to the system. Because it is a purely structural and antenna-routing part, thermals, noise and power draw remain unchanged from the factory condition once the cover is fitted.
The cover mates directly to the existing hinge brackets and chassis mounting points of the Inspiron Mini 12 without modification. Integrated antenna cables route through the original channels, freeing the builder from sourcing separate antenna wires or adapters. No additional brackets, screws or tools beyond those used for the stock disassembly are required to complete the installation.

Remove the display bezel, disconnect the old lid, then route the wireless antenna cables through the hinge channels before securing the new Green Thunder cover — skipping the cable routing causes signal loss.
The wireless antenna cables inside the lid assembly can fatigue from repeated opening; inspect them during any screen repair and replace the full K713M lid if conductors fracture.
Hinge stress on the Green Thunder plastic is the primary limit — repeated flexing eventually cracks the mounting bosses, requiring a new K713M lid assembly.
