Genuine Dell LCD Back Cover Lid

This genuine Dell replacement LCD back cover lid is designed for the Inspiron Mini 12 notebook, also known as the 1210 model. It restores the original appearance and structural integrity of the display assembly. The part arrives in The Muse purple finish matching the factory colour. It is intended for owners repairing a damaged or worn lid on this specific device.

Direct Fit with Integrated Antennas

The assembly includes the wireless antenna cables pre-routed within the lid structure. Installation reuses the existing hinges and bezel from the laptop, requiring no additional mounting hardware. This design frees the builder from sourcing separate antenna components or adapting generic parts. It fits precisely into the existing chassis of the compatible Inspiron Mini 12 unit.

Durable OEM Construction Under Daily Use

Built to Dell OEM specifications, the cover maintains rigidity during repeated opening and closing cycles. The integrated antenna cables retain signal performance without fatigue from hinge movement. The Muse purple finish resists cosmetic wear from handling and transport. This part serves users keeping a legacy 12-inch netbook operational rather than upgrading to newer hardware.

Questions about this item

Will the K717M lid fit my Inspiron Mini 12 1210 without modification?

The K717M is a genuine Dell OEM part built for the Inspiron Mini 12 and 1210, so it aligns with the original mounting points and antenna routing.

Does the purple finish on this replacement lid show fingerprints or scratches easily?

The Muse Purple colour is applied at the factory to match the original chassis, so its wear characteristics are the same as the lid that shipped with the notebook.

What components from my damaged lid must I move over to this replacement?

The assembly arrives as the back cover with wireless antenna cables installed; hinges, camera module, LCD panel and bezel are not included and must be transferred from the old lid.
