Dell Inspiron Touch 15.6 inch laptop

The Dell Inspiron Touch is a 15.6 inch laptop with a Full HD touchscreen display. It runs on a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1355U processor paired with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB NVME SSD. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed. The package includes an LED mouse.

Thermals and power in normal use

A 45W power supply charges the 3-Cell battery during typical workloads. Integrated Intel graphics and the efficient processor architecture keep heat output low for office tasks. The laptop weighs 3.5lb and measures 14.15 IN by 9.25 IN by .90 IN. Fan noise stays subdued during light productivity.

Sustained load behaviour

Under continuous demand the cooling system manages processor temperatures without throttling the i7-1355U. The DDR5 memory and NVME storage maintain consistent throughput during extended sessions. Connectivity relies on 802.11ac Wifi and Bluetooth 5.0 for stable links. Ports include two USB 3.2 Gen1, one USB 2.0, one USB Type-C 3.2, HDMI and an SD card reader.

The 1TB NVME SSD is already installed from the factory; no user installation is required.

What maintenance or replacement will the 3-Cell battery need later?

The 3-Cell battery will eventually lose capacity and require replacement when run-time becomes too short.

What limit shows up first on the i7-1355U under sustained heavy workloads?

The 45W power supply limits sustained performance before the processor reaches its thermal ceiling.
