Dell Inspiron Touch 15.6 i7-1355U 24GB DDR5 1TB NVME

This Dell Inspiron Touch laptop pairs a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1355U processor with 24GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB NVME solid-state drive. The 15.6 inch Full HD touchscreen resolves at 1920 x 1080 and supports ten-point touch input. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed. The configuration suits office workers, students and mobile professionals who want responsive multitasking and fast storage in a standard clamshell chassis.

Connectivity and ports for daily workflows

Wireless connectivity uses 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. Physical ports include two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A connectors, one USB 2.0 Type-A, one USB Type-C 3.2, one HDMI output and an SD card reader. A 720p HD webcam and a headphone/microphone combo jack handle video calls. The port selection covers external displays, peripherals and memory cards without needing a dock, though the single USB-C port limits simultaneous high-speed accessories.

Build, power and mobility considerations

The black chassis measures 14.15 x 9.25 x 0.90 inches and weighs 3.5 pounds. A 45W power adapter charges the integrated 3-cell battery. The standard keyboard and precision touchpad provide familiar input. Because the memory and storage are upgraded by the supplier after opening the original box, buyers who require a factory-sealed unit or user-serviceable internals should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Can the 24GB DDR5 memory be expanded later?

The 24GB DDR5 is installed in the system; no extra SO-DIMM slots are documented, so plan on the factory capacity.

What thermal limit appears first during long workloads on the i7-1355U?

The 15W base power envelope of the i7-1355U combined with the 45W power supply means sustained turbo clocks will throttle once the cooling solution saturates.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when the laptop runs all day?

The 3-cell battery and 45W adapter feed a thin 0.90-inch chassis; expect noticeable fan noise and warm palm-rest areas under continuous load.
