Genuine Dell IR Web Camera Module

This is a genuine Dell OEM IR web camera module carrying part number JCXG0. It is designed for Dell laptops that were originally configured with the optional infrared camera. Compatible models include various Inspiron 2-in-1 and Alienware systems.

Sustained infrared imaging for Windows Hello

The module provides infrared imaging capability required for Windows Hello facial recognition. It operates continuously during authentication sessions without the performance constraints of standard webcams. The hardware integrates directly with the laptop's internal camera connector.

Replaces a failed or missing IR camera module

This part replaces a faulty or absent IR camera module in supported Dell laptops. The upgrade is worthwhile only for systems originally equipped with the IR camera option from the factory. It does not add infrared capability to laptops that shipped with a standard HD webcam only.
