Mobile workstation with 32 GB memory

The Dell Precision 3560 is a 15.6-inch laptop built around an Intel Core i5-1145G7 processor. It ships with 32 GB of system memory and a 512 GB solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed. The HD panel shows 1366 x 768 resolution without touch input. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics handle the display output.

Dual Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.0

Two Thunderbolt 4 ports provide high-speed data, video and charging through a single cable. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports connect legacy peripherals directly. A single HDMI 2.0 port drives an external monitor. A universal audio jack combines headphone and microphone functions. No optical drive is fitted.

Suited to office multitasking and light CAD

The 32 GB memory and fast SSD suit professionals running multiple business applications or light engineering workloads. The HD screen and integrated graphics limit colour-critical design or heavy 3D rendering. Buyers who need a higher-resolution panel or discrete GPU should look at other configurations. The chassis is finished in grey.

Questions about this item

Will the 512GB SSD need replacement if I run out of space?

The 512GB SSD is the only internal drive; adding more storage later would require an external device or a drive swap.

Does the Intel Iris Xe Graphics throttle first during long renders?

The Intel Iris Xe Graphics shares system memory and thermal budget with the i5-1145G7, so sustained GPU load will hit thermal limits before the CPU alone would.

How loud do the fans get when the i5-1145G7 runs at full load all day?

The Precision 3560 uses a single fan that spins up noticeably under continuous load from the i5-1145G7 and shared Iris Xe graphics.
