Refurbished Latitude 5501 Work Laptop

This refurbished Dell Latitude 5501 runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i7-9850H with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. The 15.6-inch non-touch FHD panel shows 1920 x 1080 resolution. It is a business-grade notebook graded cosmetically excellent.

Buyers needing a ready-to-deploy office machine

This suits buyers who want a single 15.6-inch laptop for general business applications with the listed ports and OS. It is not for users who require a touchscreen, a second internal drive bay, or an optical drive.

HDMI 2.0 Video Output

The HDMI 2.0 port drives one external display at the panel's native 1920 x 1080 or higher. This single specification decides whether the laptop fits a desk setup that needs that specific video connection.

Questions about this item

How long can the Intel Core i7-9850H sustain full load before thermal throttling begins?

The Intel Core i7-9850H in this 15.6 inch chassis will hit its thermal ceiling first under sustained full load, typically within several minutes depending on ambient temperature and workload intensity.

What are the fan noise and surface temperatures like during an all-day workload?

Under continuous business workloads the dual-fan cooling keeps the keyboard deck warm but not hot, and fan noise stays at a moderate office-friendly level rather than becoming intrusive.

Which cables or peripherals must I already own to use the video output and wired network immediately?

You will need an HDMI cable for the HDMI 2.0 port and an RJ-45 Ethernet cable for the 1Gbps wired connection; the three USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports and one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port accept standard cables you likely already have.
