Genuine Dell Mini SAS Perc RAID Cable

This genuine Dell OEM cable connects the Perc RAID controller inside a PowerEdge R630 server. It carries SAS signals between the controller and the drive backplane. The part is new and matches the Dell K43RY part number exactly as pictured.

Internal SAS link for R630 storage arrays

The cable handles the internal drive connections that a single Perc RAID controller manages in the R630. It does not add extra controller ports or support external enclosures. Buyers needing additional controller channels or a different server chassis will require a different cable assembly.

Questions about this item

Will the Mini SAS Perc RAID cable connect the PowerEdge R630 to an older SAS backplane I already own?

The cable is a genuine Dell OEM part designed for the PowerEdge R630 and uses the standard Mini SAS interface, so it will mate with any compatible SAS backplane that accepts the same connector.

How can I confirm the K43RY cable is functioning correctly once installed in the R630?

After installation, the RAID controller in the PowerEdge R630 should detect the attached drives during POST and the system management software will report the SAS links as online with no errors.
