Dell K9Tgr 65 W AC Adapter for Inspiron Laptops

This Dell K9Tgr adapter supplies 65 watts of AC power to compatible Inspiron notebooks. It replaces a lost or damaged original charger so the laptop can run and charge its battery. The unit is new and built to Dell specifications for the listed models.

Thermals, noise and power draw in normal use

The adapter operates silently because it has no moving parts. Its external casing stays warm but not hot during typical charging loads. Power draw from the wall matches the 65 W output rating plus normal conversion losses.

Questions about this item

How is the 65 Watt AC adapter installed on an Inspiron laptop?

Align the barrel connector with the laptop's power port, push it in until it seats firmly, then plug the AC cord into a wall outlet. The step people often miss is fully inserting the barrel until it clicks, which ensures a stable charge.

What maintenance or replacement will the 65 Watt AC adapter need over time?

Inspect the cable for fraying near the connectors and keep vents clear of dust. Replace the unit if the brick becomes excessively hot, the LED fails to light, or the laptop stops charging while plugged in.
