Genuine Dell Communication Door KU864

This genuine Dell OEM communication door replaces the original connectivity cover on compatible laptops. It fits Inspiron 1520, 1521, 1720, 1721 and Vostro 1500, 1700 models. The part restores the factory appearance and protects internal ports. Installation uses the existing hinge points on the chassis.

Replaces a missing or damaged OEM door

If the original door is cracked, lost or no longer latches securely, this part restores the correct fit. The upgrade is worth it when the hinge tabs are intact but the cover itself is broken. It does not suit laptops outside the listed Inspiron and Vostro series or models with a different chassis design.
