Alienware 16X Aurora gaming laptop

The Alienware 16X Aurora runs on an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with 24 cores and 32GB of DDR5 memory. A 2TB SSD stores the operating system and games. Windows 11 Home is installed. The system is aimed at players who want a high-refresh mobile platform.

The 16.0 inch non-touch panel shows 2560 x 1600 resolution at a 16:10 aspect ratio and 240 Hz refresh rate. One HDMI 2.1 port lets you connect an external monitor or TV for a larger desktop or living-room setup. The GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU drives both the internal screen and the external output.

Questions about this item

Can the 32 GB DDR5 memory be upgraded later?

The laptop ships with a single 32 GB DDR5 module, so a second slot is typically free for adding another stick.

What thermal limit appears first during long gaming sessions on the Core Ultra 9 275HX?

The 24-core Arrow Lake processor will hit its thermal ceiling before the RTX 5070 GPU does under sustained load.

How loud do the fans get when the RTX 5070 runs at full load all day?

Fan noise rises to a noticeable but not intrusive level once the 240 Hz panel and RTX 5070 are both stressed continuously.
