Genuine Dell OEM rear corner bumpers

These rubber corner bumpers are genuine Dell OEM replacement parts for the rear of Latitude 12 Rugged Extreme laptops. They fit the 7204 and 7214 models exactly as shown in the product images. The set includes both left and right corner pieces that attach to the palmrest chassis. Buyers needing front bumpers or parts for other rugged series will not find them here.

Model-specific fit for 7204 and 7214

The single specification that decides fit is the exact laptop model: Latitude 12 Rugged Extreme 7204 or 7214. These bumpers are moulded for the rear corners of those two chassis designs only. They will not align with other Latitude rugged models or standard consumer notebooks. Verify your model number on the service tag before ordering.

Restores original chassis protection

The rubber material absorbs impact at the rear corners during daily field use, maintaining the rugged certification of the device. No adhesive or tools beyond a small screwdriver are required for installation. The bumpers add negligible weight and do not block any ports, vents or docking connectors on the rear edge.

Questions about this item

What protection do these rear bumpers add once installed on a Latitude 12 Rugged Extreme 7204?

They absorb impact at the back corners of the chassis, shielding the palmrest assembly when the tablet is dropped or knocked during field use.

How do the bumpers attach to the 7204 and 7214 models?

They press onto the rear corner posts of the palmrest chassis; the moulded profile matches the original mounting points on both rugged tablets.

Do the left and right pieces differ in shape for the Latitude 12 Rugged Extreme?

Each bumper is contoured for its specific corner, so the left and right parts are not interchangeable and must be fitted to the correct side.
