Dell Latitude 13-7390 13-inch business laptop

The Dell Latitude 13-7390 is a 13.0-inch business laptop equipped with an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor running at 1.9 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed on the device.

Suits mobile professionals needing a compact

This configuration suits mobile professionals who value a 13-inch Full HD touchscreen, integrated Intel HD graphics and a non-backlit keyboard in a black chassis. Buyers who need dedicated graphics, higher core counts or user-upgradeable memory beyond the 16 GB soldered limit should look elsewhere.

16 GB soldered DDR4 memory is not upgradeable

The single specification that decides fit is the 16 GB DDR4 memory ceiling; the system supports no more than this amount and the memory is not user-replaceable. If your workload demands more than 16 GB of RAM, this unit will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 512 GB SSD in the Latitude 13-7390 and which step is often missed?

Remove the base cover, disconnect the battery, secure the drive with its screw, then reconnect the battery before closing the case.

What maintenance will the 16 GB DDR4 memory need over time?

The memory is soldered and non-upgradable, so no user maintenance is required; keep vents clear to avoid thermal throttling.

What limit appears first during sustained loads on the i7-8650U?

Thermal limits throttle the 1.9 GHz quad-core processor before power or memory bandwidth become bottlenecks.
