Business laptop with 14-inch display

The Dell Latitude 14-7490 is a 14.0-inch laptop powered by a quad-core i7-8650U processor running at 1.90GHz with 8 MB L3 cache. It comes with 8GB DDR4 system memory and a 512 GB SATA solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed on the device. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handle visual output on the 1366 x 768 non-touch screen.

Suits mobile professionals needing legacy ports

This machine suits users who need HDMI output and three USB 3.0 ports for peripherals or external displays without dongles. The non-backlit keyboard and 1366 x 768 resolution limit appeal for low-light typing or detailed creative work. Buyers who want more storage or memory headroom should look at something else. Maximum supported memory is 16 GB.

Fits compact bags and dock setups

The 14-inch form factor slides into small briefcases and works with Dell docking stations via the USB 3.0 and HDMI connections. Integrated graphics free up internal space and power budget compared to discrete options. The SATA SSD keeps the storage interface simple for future upgrades. A built-in webcam supports video calls without extra hardware.
