Questions about this item

Will the 16 GB DDR4 memory limit multitasking when I run several business applications at once?

The laptop ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and the platform maximum is also 16 GB, so the installed amount is the highest the system can support. Heavy multitasking will use all available memory and may rely on the 512 GB SATA SSD for paging.

How much fan noise and heat should I expect from the i7-8650U and integrated Intel HD Graphics during an all-day workload?

The quad-core 1.90 GHz processor with 8 MB cache and integrated graphics are designed for thin-and-light business chassis; under sustained office loads the cooling system runs quietly and surface temperatures stay comfortable for lap use.

Which cables or peripherals do I need to connect an external monitor to the HDMI port?

A standard HDMI cable is all that is required to drive an external display from the built-in HDMI output; the three USB 3.0 ports are available for additional accessories such as a keyboard, mouse or docking station.
