Genuine Dell LCD Back Cover for Latitude Netbooks

This red 10.1" LCD back cover lid assembly is a genuine Dell OEM replacement part numbered C368P or R874N. It fits Latitude 2100, 2110 and 2120 netbooks. The unit ships with left and right hinges plus wireless antenna cables already installed. No trim bezel is included so the original bezel must be reused.

Passive component with no thermal or power profile

The cover is a structural plastic and metal assembly containing no active electronics, fans or power circuitry. It generates no heat and draws no power during normal use. Acoustic output is limited to the mechanical movement of the integrated hinges when opening or closing the display. No thermal management or power budget is required.

Red chassis part with integrated hinges

Build quality matches factory specifications for the Latitude 2100, 2110 and 2120 series. The hinges are riveted into the lid and the wireless antenna cables are routed through the hinge channels. Installers must transfer the existing display bezel, webcam module and LCD panel onto this cover. Buyers needing a complete lid with bezel or a different colour should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 10.1" LCD back cover on my Latitude 2100 without damaging the wireless antenna cables?

Route the antenna cables through the hinge channels before securing the left and right hinges to the chassis, ensuring they sit flat without pinching.

Which components of this RED C368P assembly will need replacement if the hinges become loose over time?

The integrated left and right hinges are part of the lid assembly; if they wear out, the entire back cover must be replaced.

What is the first limitation I will hit when swapping this lid on a Latitude 2120 repeatedly?

The plastic hinge mounts on the 10.1" cover can crack after multiple removals, making the assembly unusable.
