Business laptop for office work

The Dell Latitude 3520 is a 15.6 inch business laptop built around an Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor with 4 cores and 12 MB cache. It ships with 32 GB DDR4-3200 RAM and a 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for professional environments.

Integrated privacy and connectivity

A built-in camera shutter blocks the webcam when not in use. Wi-Fi6 and Bluetooth 5.1 provide current wireless standards. Ports include two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 2.0 Type-C, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 with status LED, a combo audio jack and a USB 3.0 card reader.

Memory and storage headroom

The 32 GB DDR4-3200 configuration handles multitasking across office applications and browser tabs without paging. The 512 GB NVMe SSD offers fast boot and load times for the OS and working files. Buyers who want more storage or discrete graphics for heavy rendering will need a different platform.

Questions about this item

Can the 32 GB DDR4-3200 memory be upgraded later?

The system ships with 32 GB DDR4-3200 SDRAM; the supplier notes memory is configurable up to 32 GB, so no further RAM expansion is possible.

What limits performance first during extended heavy workloads?

The Intel Core i3-1115G4 dual-core processor with a 4.7 GHz turbo ceiling will hit its thermal and power envelope before other components become the bottleneck.

How loud and hot does the laptop get when running all day?

The 15.6" FHD panel runs at 250 nits and the chassis measures 19.4 x 12.7 x 2.9 in; fan noise and surface temperature rise under sustained load but stay within typical business-laptop limits.
