Built for everyday productivity

The Dell Latitude 3520 is a 15.5-inch laptop powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1145G7 running at 2.60 GHz. It comes with 16 GB of memory and a 256 GB NVMe drive, running Windows 11 Pro out of the box. The HD non-touch panel refreshes at 60 Hz and the chassis is finished in black. It suits office workers, students and anyone needing a reliable daily driver.

Ports and wireless that support a desk setup

Three USB 3.0 ports and one Thunderbolt 4 connection handle peripherals, external storage and a single 4K display. Gigabit LAN, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 keep network links stable whether docked or mobile. The integrated graphics mean no discrete GPU power draw, leaving the slim adapter to run the system and charge the battery. An AC adapter is included in the box.

Steady output during long work sessions

The four-core processor maintains its 2.60 GHz base clock across extended document, browser and video-call workloads without thermal throttling. Sixteen gigabytes of RAM keeps multiple apps and browser tabs resident, so the NVMe drive is not leaned on for swap traffic. Integrated graphics handle UI composition and streaming decode at a constant 60 Hz, delivering consistent frame pacing rather than burst peaks.

Questions about this item

What thermal limit does the Core i5-1145G7 hit during sustained workloads?

The integrated graphics share system memory, so extended heavy loads push the CPU toward its thermal ceiling and the fan spins up to maintain 2.60 GHz.

How loud and hot does the laptop get when running all day?

The 15.5 inch HD chassis uses a single fan; under continuous load the keyboard deck warms noticeably and fan noise rises to an audible whir.

Which peripherals must I already own to use the Thunderbolt 4 port?

You need a Thunderbolt 4 or USB-C dock, monitor, or cable; the port also accepts standard USB 3.0 devices at 3.0 speeds.
