Latitude 5320 business laptop

The Dell Latitude 5320 is a 13.3 inch FHD laptop built for mobile professionals. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1145G7 processor with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD. The non-touch display offers 1920 x 1080 resolution at 250 nits brightness. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports and Wi-Fi 6 support modern connectivity needs.

Thermals noise and power

A 4-cell 63 Wh battery supplies power for typical workdays and supports ExpressCharge capability. The slim chassis measures 14.2 x 9.32 x 0.76 inches and weighs 2.61 lbs, allowing quiet operation during standard office tasks. Intel Iris Xe graphics handle everyday visual workloads without discrete GPU heat. Power delivery runs through the Thunderbolt 4 ports for flexible charging options.

Bundled accessories and software

Windows 11 Pro provides enterprise management and security features out of the box. The HD camera includes a physical privacy shutter for video calls. A backlit keyboard aids typing in low light. Ports include HDMI 2.0, USB 3.2 with power share, a microSD slot and a global headset jack. An optional micro-SIM tray supports mobile broadband where available.

Questions about this item

How is the 512 GB SSD installed, and which step do people often miss?

The drive slides into the internal M.2 slot; the step many miss is removing the bottom cover screws and disconnecting the battery before insertion.

What maintenance will the 63 Wh battery need later?

The 4-cell lithium-ion pack is not user-replaceable; plan on a depot service when run-time drops below your needs.

Which limit appears first during a long compile on the Core i5-1145G7?

The thin chassis hits its thermal ceiling before the 4.40 GHz turbo can be sustained, so clocks drop to protect the silicon.
