Questions about this item

How does the 2.6 GHz quad-core i7-1185G7 handle sustained workloads before thermal throttling begins?

The 11th Generation Intel Core i7-1185G7 runs at a 2.6 GHz base frequency with a 4.40 GHz maximum turbo. Under continuous load the processor will reduce clocks to stay within its thermal design power, so sustained performance settles below the peak turbo speed.

What fan noise and surface temperatures should I expect when the 65 W Type-C adapter powers the system all day?

The 65 W USB-C supply feeds the CPU, Iris Xe graphics and 32 GB DDR4 memory. Typical office workloads keep the chassis warm but not hot; fan noise stays at a low hum. Heavier tasks spin the fan faster and raise keyboard-deck temperature noticeably.

Which peripherals do I need to connect to the two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.0 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for a complete desk setup?

The laptop provides two Thunderbolt 4 ports with DisplayPort Alt Mode and Power Delivery, one HDMI 2.0 output, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports (one with PowerShare) and a universal audio jack. You only need monitors, storage or docks that match those interfaces.
