Business-ready 14.0" laptop with 1 TB NVMe

The DELL Latitude 5490 is a new Windows 10 Pro notebook built for professional workloads. It pairs a 14.0 inch FHD non-touch display at 1920 x 1080 with an Intel Core i7-8650U running at 1.90 GHz. Sixteen GB of memory and a 1 TB NVMe drive provide responsive multitasking and ample local storage. A backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader, smartcard reader and webcam complete the business feature set.

Suited to mobile professionals needing security

This specification suits users who require hardware authentication via fingerprint and smartcard readers on a 14.0 inch chassis. Buyers who need a touchscreen or a larger display diagonal should look at other models.

Single spec that decides fit: 1 TB NVMe storage

The 1 TB NVMe drive is the decisive specification for buyers who need high-capacity solid-state storage without adding external drives. If the workflow demands more than 1 TB of internal flash capacity, this unit will not meet the requirement.
