EVOO Ultra Thin laptop i7-6660U

The EVOO Ultra Thin laptop uses an Intel Core i7-6660U processor with a 3.4GHz turbo frequency and 8GB of soldered DDR4 memory. Integrated Intel Iris Graphics 540 handles the 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 FHD display. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed on the 256GB SSD.

Thermals noise and power draw

The dual-core processor runs at a 2.40GHz base frequency and reaches 3.4GHz under load. Integrated graphics share the 8GB DDR4 2400 memory pool. The slim chassis manages heat from the 15-watt class CPU during typical office and media tasks.

Build fit and expansion

Memory is soldered to the board and limited to 8GB total capacity. The 256GB SSD provides the primary storage with no additional drive bays listed. External displays connect through the HDMI port. A card reader, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 720p webcam support peripheral and communication needs.

Questions about this item

How do I add more memory to this laptop, and what step do people miss?

The 8 GB DDR4 2400 memory is soldered on board and cannot be expanded; the maximum supported capacity is 8 GB, so no installation is possible.

Which component will need replacement first during the laptop's life?

The 256 GB SSD is the only user-replaceable storage device; plan to swap it when capacity or write endurance runs out.

What limit appears first when the Core i7-6660U runs at 3.4 GHz for a long period?

The dual-core processor shares a 4 MB SmartCache and relies on integrated Iris Graphics 540, so thermal throttling typically caps sustained turbo clocks before other limits.
