14-inch business laptop

The Dell Latitude 5490 is a 14.0-inch laptop built for everyday professional use. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i5 8th Gen processor at 1.60GHz with 8GB of memory and a 256GB SSD. The FHD display delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution without touch input. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles standard visual tasks.

Suits mobile workers, not heavy creators

This device suits office staff, students and remote workers who need a reliable, portable machine for documents, email and web apps. The single HDMI port and webcam support external displays and video calls. Buyers who want more storage, a dedicated graphics card or a touchscreen should look at something else. The non-touch FHD panel and integrated graphics limit advanced creative workflows.

256GB SSD decides fit

The 256GB solid-state drive is the specification that determines whether this laptop meets your needs. It provides fast boot times and quick application launches for a core set of programs and files. Users with large media libraries, extensive local databases or multiple virtual machines will find the capacity restrictive. No additional hard drive is installed.
