Suits mobile workers needing legacy ports

Buyers who require VGA, full-size HDMI, DisplayPort over Type-C, RJ-45 and an SD card reader will find them all built in. The 3.52 lb chassis measures 13.1 x 9.0 x 0.8 inches. This unit is not for users who want a touchscreen, discrete graphics, a larger display or a lighter ultraportable form factor.

Quad-core U-series processor

The i5-8250U provides four cores and eight threads with a 3.4 GHz maximum turbo frequency. This CPU choice determines whether the laptop handles typical office multitasking and light content workloads within its 15 W thermal envelope. Buyers needing sustained heavy compute or dedicated GPU acceleration should consider other configurations.
