Business laptop with 14.0" FHD screen

This Dell Latitude 5490 is a 14.0 inch business laptop running Windows 10 Pro. It uses an Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with a maximum turbo frequency of 3.60 GHz. The system includes 16 GB of DDR4 memory at 2400 MHz and a 512 GB PCIe NVMe Class 40 solid state drive. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles the display output on the non-touch 1920 x 1080 panel.

Suits mobile professionals needing a managed

The specification fits organisations that still standardise on Windows 10 Pro and want a compact chassis with a quad-core processor, 16 GB of memory and a fast NVMe drive. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a discrete graphics processor or a newer operating system should look at other models because this unit has a non-touch display, integrated graphics only and ships with Windows 10 Pro.

512 GB PCIe NVMe Class 40 solid state drive

The single specification that decides fit is the 512 GB PCIe NVMe Class 40 drive. It determines both the storage capacity available for local files and the interface speed class for the M.2 slot. Confirm that this capacity and the NVMe protocol match the deployment image and any encryption requirements before purchase.
