Business-ready laptop with 11th Gen Intel Core i5

The Dell Latitude 5520 delivers a quad-core 1135G7 processor at 2.4 GHz with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and activated. It suits professionals who need reliable multitasking on a 15.6-inch HD display.

Passive thermal profile for office workloads

Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics share system memory, keeping power draw modest during typical productivity tasks. The chassis dissipates heat without aggressive fan curves, so acoustic output stays low in quiet environments. Battery life benefits from the efficient 11th Gen architecture.

Grade B chassis with versatile I/O

Cosmetic blemishes such as scratches or shiny keys are present but structural integrity is intact. Two Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet and a microSD reader cover dock, display and peripheral needs. Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g and Bluetooth 5.1 handle wireless connectivity.

Questions about this item

How do I install the NVMe SSD in the M.2 slot and what step is often missed?

Insert the 256 GB NVMe drive at an angle into the M.2 socket, secure it with the retention screw, then enable the NVMe option in BIOS so the drive appears as a boot device.

Which component will need replacement first and when?

The internal battery degrades after roughly two to three years of daily charge cycles; swap it when runtime drops below half of the original figure.

What thermal limit appears first during a long compile or render job?

The i5 1135G7 hits its 100 °C junction ceiling and throttles clocks once the thin vapour-chamber cooler saturates under sustained multi-core load.
