Business laptop with 32 GB memory

The Dell Latitude 5520 is a 15.6-inch business laptop running Windows 10 Pro. It uses an Intel Core i7 1185G7 quad-core processor at 2.6 GHz with 8 MB cache. The system includes 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD. Integrated graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 IPS non-touch display.

Suits mobile professionals.

This configuration suits professionals who need large memory capacity for multitasking and fast NVMe storage in a 3.5 lbs chassis. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance for rendering or gaming should look at a different class of machine. The non-touch IPS screen targets standard office viewing rather than pen input.

32 GB DDR4 memory fixed at maximum supported

The laptop provides 32 GB DDR4 memory, which matches the maximum memory supported by the platform. Both memory slots are populated, so no further RAM upgrades are possible. Buyers who anticipate needing more than 32 GB of system memory must choose a different platform.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 2.6GHz quad-core processor and 32GB DDR4 memory are recognised after first boot?

Open Windows Task Manager, select the Performance tab, and confirm the CPU shows four cores at 2.60GHz with 8MB L3 cache while the Memory section reports 32GB DDR4.

Which accessories are included and what must I purchase separately for a typical desk setup?

The laptop, power adapter and documentation are in the box; an external monitor, USB keyboard, mouse and docking station are not included.

Should I choose the 512GB NVMe configuration or look for a larger capacity?

The 512GB PCIe NVMe drive is the only storage option listed for this model; if more space is needed later the two memory slots are already populated at the 32GB maximum.
