The non-touch FHD screen uses integrated graphics with shared system memory. This configuration suits users who need a ready-to-run system for productivity tasks.

Build integration and expansion

Two memory slots support up to 64 GB of DDR4 for future upgrades. Connectivity includes Thunderbolt 3, two USB 3.0 ports with PowerShare, HDMI, an SD card reader, Ethernet and a headset jack. Wireless uses 2x2 801.11ac plus Bluetooth 4.2. The HD IR camera and microphone are built into the bezel. No optical drive is fitted, freeing internal space and reducing weight.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6" FHD 250-nit panel throttle the i5-1145G7 during long renders?

The integrated graphics use shared system memory and the 250-nit non-touch screen has no independent cooling, so sustained loads are limited by the laptop's thermal design rather than the display.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when the 16 GB DDR4 and 256 GB SSD run all day?

The i5-1145G7 and integrated graphics share the internal cooling system; under continuous load the fans spin up and the aluminium areas warm, but no decibel or surface-temperature figures are published.

Which cables or docks do I need to connect dual monitors to the Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI ports?

One external display plugs directly into the HDMI port; a second requires a Thunderbolt 3 dock or USB-C video adapter that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode.
