ThinkPad T460 14" IPS FHD Ultrabook

The Lenovo ThinkPad T460 is a 14-inch ultrabook with a 1920 x 1080 IPS anti-glare display. It runs on an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor with 8GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB SATA SSD. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit comes pre-installed. It suits professionals needing a portable, durable machine for office work and travel.

8GB DDR4 memory with soldered configuration

The system ships with 8GB of DDR4 RAM. The supplier notes indicate a 16GB plus 4GB soldered layout, meaning the memory is not fully user-upgradable. Buyers who need more than 8GB of RAM for heavy multitasking or virtualisation should verify the exact slot availability before purchase.

Standard ultrabook installation constraints

As an ultrabook, major components like the processor and graphics are soldered to the motherboard. The 512GB M.2 SATA SSD and the removable memory stick are the primary user-serviceable parts. Opening the chassis requires removing the bottom cover screws; the internal battery connector must be disconnected first to avoid a short circuit.
