Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Suits mobile professionals needing a durable 15.6 inch chassis with Thunderbolt 4 connectivity and integrated graphics for office applications. Not for buyers who require dedicated graphics performance, larger storage capacity, or a touchscreen interface.

Deciding specification: 128GB SSD

The 128GB SSD capacity determines if this laptop meets your storage requirements for operating system, applications, and local files. Users with large media libraries or extensive project data will need external or cloud storage solutions.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the Core i7-1185G7 get when the Latitude 5520 runs all day?

The 15.6-inch chassis measures .78 inches thick and weighs 3.50 lb, giving the quad-core processor room to dissipate heat without excessive fan noise during sustained workloads.

Which cables or peripherals must I already own to use the Thunderbolt 4 ports on this Latitude 5520?

Thunderbolt 4 uses USB Type-C connectors, so you need USB-C cables or adapters for displays, storage or docks; the laptop also provides HDMI 2.0, USB 3.2 and RJ45 for legacy devices.

Will my older USB-A accessories and external monitor work with the Latitude 5520?

Yes, the laptop includes one USB 3.2 Type-A port and one USB 3.2 Powershare Type-A port alongside HDMI 2.0, so existing USB-A peripherals and HDMI monitors connect directly.
