With 16GB DDR4 and integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, the system handles typical office multitasking and light content creation. Thermal management in the 3.5 kg chassis maintains performance during extended sessions without throttling.

Interface practical limits

Two Thunderbolt 4 ports with Power Delivery and DisplayPort provide up to 40 Gbps bandwidth for docks, external GPUs or 4K displays. HDMI 2.0 supports a single 4K 60 Hz monitor. USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports deliver 5 Gbps for peripherals. The uSD 4.0 card reader and RJ45 Ethernet complete the connectivity set. Wi-Fi 802.11 n and Bluetooth handle wireless links.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the Latitude 5520 get when the i5-1145G7 runs at 4.40 GHz Turbo for hours?

The 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1145G7 has a 2.60 GHz base and 4.40 GHz Turbo; Dell Optimizer manages thermals and fan curves automatically during sustained loads.

Which cables or docks do I need to connect two external monitors to the Thunderbolt 4 ports?

Each Thunderbolt 4 port carries DisplayPort video and Power Delivery; use USB-C to DisplayPort or HDMI 2.0 cables, or a Thunderbolt dock, to drive two displays.

Will my existing DDR4 SODIMMs work if I want to expand the 16GB memory later?

The system uses DDR4 memory; the 16GB installed occupies one or two slots, so compatible DDR4 SODIMMs can be added up to the board limit.
