Latitude 5521 for office users

The Dell Latitude 5521 is a 15.6 inch laptop built around an Intel Core i5 11th Gen processor with a minimum speed of 2.70GHz. It ships with 8GB of memory and a 512GB solid-state drive running Windows 11 Pro. The 1366 x 768 WXGA display is non-touch and uses LED backlighting. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handle everyday visual tasks. The unit is new but professionally reconditioned and may show moderate cosmetic wear on the bezel, casing, keyboard or trackpad.

Installation and common issues

Windows 11 Pro arrives with a hard-disk-based recovery image already installed so the system is ready to use after the first boot. Two memory slots are present inside the chassis should an upgrade be required later. The cosmetic condition notes warn of possible scratches, scuffs, up to two dead pixels or small screen bruises. Expansion or SD slot covers may be missing on some units. No optical drive is fitted and only two USB ports are available for peripherals.

Suitable for light productivity, not heavy workloads

This configuration suits office workers, students or remote staff who need a reliable Windows machine for documents, email and web browsing. Buyers who want more storage than the 480GB to 512GB usable range should look elsewhere. The 8GB memory ceiling and integrated graphics make it unsuitable for video editing, 3D work or modern gaming. The 1366 x 768 panel will not satisfy users who need higher pixel density for design or multi-window workflows.
