Dual-drive 15.6-inch work laptop

The Dell Latitude 5570 is a new 15.6-inch notebook with a full-HD display, a quad-core i5-6440HQ processor, 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a combined 512 GB M.2 solid-state drive plus a 1 TB 2.5-inch hard drive. It ships with Windows 10 Pro installed and includes integrated Intel HD Graphics. The chassis provides USB 3.0, HDMI, VGA, Ethernet, an SD 4.0 slot and a dock connector.

Suited to office multitasking and local data storage

This configuration suits professionals who want fast boot and application loads from the SSD while keeping large project files on the mechanical drive. Buyers who need discrete graphics, more than 8 GB of RAM or a lighter form factor should look elsewhere. The integrated graphics and fixed 8 GB memory limit intensive creative workloads or virtual-machine use.

512 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB hard drive

The dual-drive layout is the specification that decides fit: the M.2 slot holds the 512 GB boot drive and the 2.5-inch bay holds the 1 TB hard drive. If a single larger solid-state drive or a different capacity split is required, this unit does not match that need.
