Questions about this item

Can I upgrade the 8 GB DDR4 memory later, and how much can I add?

The laptop has two memory slots and supports up to 32 GB DDR4 total, so you can add modules to reach that limit.

What limits sustained performance first on the Intel Core i7-8650U with Intel UHD Graphics 620?

The integrated graphics share system memory and the 15 W processor will hit thermal limits before the memory bandwidth does.

How loud and hot does the Latitude 5590 get when running all day on the 220 nit screen?

The fan stays quiet during light work; under continuous load the chassis warms noticeably around the keyboard deck and the fan spins up to an audible level.
