Compact 12.5" business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7290 is a 12.5 inch full-HD notebook built around an 8th-generation quad-core Intel Core i5-8350U processor with integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory in a dual-channel layout and a 512 GB PCIe M.2 solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. The non-touch display measures 1920 by 1080 pixels.

Mobile professionals needing integrated graphics

This unit suits users who want a lightweight Windows 11 Pro machine for office applications, web browsing and video conferencing via the front-facing webcam. Wireless connectivity includes dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics processor, a touchscreen panel, additional internal storage bays or memory expansion beyond the factory configuration should consider other form factors.

512 GB PCIe M.2 solid-state drive

The single specification that decides fit is the 512 GB PCIe M.2 SSD, which provides the operating system volume and primary data storage in one non-upgradable slot. No 2.5 inch drive bay or secondary M.2 slot is present, so total capacity cannot be increased internally. Verify that 512 GB meets your workload before purchase.
