Questions about this item

How do I install the 8 GB x 2 DDR4 modules in the Latitude 7290, and which step causes the most trouble?

Remove the bottom cover screws, lift the panel, seat both sticks until the clips click, then replace the cover; the step most often missed is pressing each module firmly enough to engage both side clips.

What maintenance or replacement will the 512 GB PCIe M.2 SSD need later?

The solid-state drive has no moving parts, so no scheduled maintenance is required; replacement is only necessary if the drive fails or you need more capacity.

What limit appears first when the Intel Core i5-8350U runs at 3.6 GHz under sustained load?

The processor hits its thermal ceiling and reduces clock speed to stay within its power envelope.
