Portable business laptop

The Dell Latitude 7290 is a 12.5 inch laptop built for professionals who travel frequently. It weighs little and fits small bags while running Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i7-8650U processor. The 8GB DDR4 memory and 512GB NVMe SSD handle office workloads and fast boot times. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1366 x 768 HD display.

Connectivity limits

Two USB 3.0 ports and one Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port provide peripheral expansion and external display support. Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11ac Wi-Fi with Bluetooth 4.2 cover wired and wireless networking. A single HDMI port connects projectors or televisions for presentations. The microSD card reader adds removable storage without an adapter.

Soldered memory constraint

The 8GB DDR4 memory is not upgradeable, so buyers who need more RAM for virtual machines or large datasets must choose a different system. The 512GB NVMe SSD can be replaced with a larger M.2 drive if storage becomes tight. The 1366 x 768 panel limits multi-window work compared to higher-resolution screens.
