14-inch business laptop with 8th Gen Intel Core i7

The Dell Latitude 7290 ships new with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. An Intel Core i7-8650U processor running at 1.90GHz handles office workloads and multitasking. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 14.0-inch HD panel at 1366 x 768 resolution. Eight gigabytes of memory and a 256GB SSD complete the core specification.

Fits a mobile workflow without extra docking

The compact 14-inch chassis slips into a standard briefcase or backpack. Integrated graphics mean no discrete GPU power draw to manage. The 256GB solid-state drive provides the operating system and application space without relying on external storage. Windows 11 Pro is ready to join a domain or Azure AD straight from the first boot.

Charger included so the system runs immediately

The supplied power adapter delivers the 1.90GHz processor its required input without a separate purchase. Windows 11 Pro licensing is already activated, removing the need for a separate key. No additional cables or recovery media are required to start working. The non-touch HD display keeps the hardware simple for IT deployment.

Questions about this item

Will the 8 GB of soldered memory limit multitasking during long work sessions?

The 8 GB is fixed on the board, so heavy multitasking or large datasets will hit that ceiling first.

How loud or hot does the chassis get when the Core i7-8650U runs at full load for hours?

The U-series chip stays within a low thermal envelope, so fan noise and surface heat remain moderate during extended use.

Which peripherals must I already own to use the 1366 x 768 display and integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620?

No extra hardware is required; the built-in panel and graphics work together out of the box.
