Business laptop for mobile professionals

The Dell Latitude 7300 is a 13.3-inch business laptop built around an Intel Core i7-8665U processor running at 1.9 GHz with 16 GB of memory and a 1 TB drive. Its carbon-fibre chassis keeps weight low for frequent travel. The configuration targets professionals who need reliable performance in a compact form factor.

Display choices define visual limits

Three screen options exist: a 1366 x 768 panel at 220 nits, a 1920 x 1080 non-touch panel at 300 nits, and a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen also at 300 nits. All run at 60 Hz with anti-glare coating. Buyers who need higher brightness, faster refresh rates or wider colour coverage cannot meet those needs with any of the available panels.

Processor tier decides suitability

The i7-8665U reaches a maximum turbo frequency of 4.1 GHz with four cores and eight threads. The alternative i5-8265U tops out at 3.9 GHz while the i5-8365U matches the 4.1 GHz ceiling. Buyers whose workloads demand sustained multi-core throughput beyond this tier should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the HD 1366 x 768 panel at 220 nits or an FHD 1920 x 1080 panel at 300 nits?

The HD panel uses less power and suits basic office work. Either FHD option gives sharper text and more screen area; choose touch if you want pen or finger input.

What does the i7-8665U 1.9 GHz base clock deliver in daily use?

Four cores and eight threads with a 4.1 GHz max turbo handle multitasking and business apps smoothly; the 1.9 GHz base keeps thermals low during light loads.

Which display interface does the 13.3 inch panel use and what resolution ceiling does it enforce?

The built-in eDP link drives the internal panel only, so the maximum resolution is the panel's native 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz.
