Convertible 13.1-inch business 2-in-1

The Dell Latitude 7310 is a 13.1-inch convertible notebook with a Full HD touchscreen running Windows 11 Pro. A 10th-generation quad-core Intel Core i7-10610U processor is paired with 32 GB of memory in a dual-channel 16 GB x 2 configuration. The system stores data on a single 1 TB M.2 2242 SSD and includes a 65-watt AC adapter.

Upgrade from 8 GB or dual-core ultraportables

The 32 GB memory ceiling and quad-core processor make the jump worthwhile when current hardware stalls on heavy multitasking or large dataset handling. Memory slots are fully populated at 32 GB, so further expansion requires module replacement up to the 64 GB platform maximum. Thunderbolt capability is optional on the Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, which also carries DisplayPort Alt Mode.

Verify port mix and memory headroom

Confirm the optional Thunderbolt 3 implementation is present if external GPU or dual 4K dock scenarios are planned. The Type-C dock connector and uSIM tray are also optional features that vary by unit. No memory slots remain free, so future upgrades demand a full 64 GB kit replacement. Stylus and smart-card reader may be absent from the brown-box packaging.

Questions about this item

Does the 13.0 inch 2-in-1 chassis use the M.2 2242 form factor for its 1TB SSD?

Yes, the storage spec lists one drive up to 1TB M.2 2242 SSD for this convertible model.

Which driver or firmware step is often missed when reinstalling Windows 11 Pro on the Intel Core i7-10610U platform?

Installing the Thunderbolt controller firmware and driver after the OS loads is the step most often skipped, which breaks Type-C dock and DisplayPort Alt Mode support.

When the 3-cell lithium-ion battery wears out, is it user-replaceable or does it require service?

The 3-cell battery is internal; replacement requires removing the base cover and disconnecting the cable, so plan for a service visit rather than a quick user swap.
