Product identity

The Dell Latitude 7310 2-in-1 is a 13.0-inch convertible notebook built for business users. It runs Windows 11 Pro on a 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10610U quad-core processor with 32GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. The Full HD touchscreen resolves at 1920 x 1080.

Who it suits

Professionals who need a lightweight Silver chassis with a 3.5 mm audio jack, HDMI 1.4 output and USB Type-C ports supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode will find it ready for docked or mobile work. Buyers who require a stylus included in the box or a higher-capacity battery should look at other configurations.

Deciding specification

The system ships with 32GB of memory installed across two slots leaving zero slots free, while the platform supports up to 64GB. If your workflow demands more than the fitted capacity today, you cannot expand without replacing modules.

Questions about this item

How do I install the M.2 2242 SSD in the Latitude 7310, and which step do people often miss?

Remove the bottom cover, insert the drive into the single M.2 2242 slot at an angle, then secure it with the retention screw; the step often missed is re-enabling the drive in the BIOS after the physical install.

What maintenance or replacement will the 3-cell lithium-ion battery need later?

The internal 3-cell lithium-ion battery is not user-replaceable; when runtime drops below usable levels the unit must be sent to a Dell authorised service centre for a full battery swap.

At what point does the 65-watt AC adapter become the limit during sustained heavy workloads on the i7-10610U?

Under continuous multi-core load the CPU can draw more power than the 65-watt adapter supplies, causing the system to throttle clock speeds to stay within the adapter’s output envelope.
